Feel like you’re always scrambling to post something?
You look at your to-do list and realize… “post video to Instagram" has been on there for weeks.
So you rush into “content mode,” trying to film something worth posting, trying to look productive, trying to sound polished…
But it feels disconnected from your real studio practice. It’s like you’re performing your art life instead of living it.

Hi, I'm Zach Wolfson 👋
Hi, I'm Zach Wolfson 👋

I help artists build video habits that feel like a natural part of their studio practice — not a performance.
Through my Ready to Record membership and workshops, I’ve taught hundreds of artists how to record and share their work in a way that feels aligned with who they are. I’ve also made video stories for brands like Adobe, Discovery, and Sony, and my artist docuseries Beyond the Gallery was nominated for Best Documentary Series by the International Academy of Web Television.
But I made One-Shot Studio Views for a very specific reason:
Because I see how many artists are caught in a cycle of “I need to post something”… and it drains the joy from their art practice.
This workshop offers a different way forward — one that starts with one single camera angle, recording one specific kind of moment in your studio, and a habit that supports both your art making rhythm and your visibility online.

Common Questions
Common Questions
What if my studio isn’t cute or camera-ready?
That’s really the whole point. This workshop helps you find one real, workable angle in your space — no cleanup, rearranging, or aesthetic pressure required.
Do I need fancy gear?
Nope. Your phone and a small tripod for it is enough. I’ll show you how to use what you already have to start recording during your next studio session.
What if I don’t like being on camera?
You don’t have to be when recording “studio views.” This routine is about visually documenting glimpses of your art practice, not talking about it. You can stay behind the camera whenever you want to.
Will I be posting the videos during the workshop?
Nope. This is about recording consistently, not sharing right away. You’ll build up a folder of studio view video clips so you always have footage to use when you’re ready to post.
Will there be a replay?
Yes! You’ll get access to the full replay, usually within 48 hours of the live session, so you can watch and revisit anytime.
