Record Your Art to Connect
You've thought about talking about your art on camera for a while now, and every time something stops you. I'll help you write three things about your art that you can talk about on camera, and record your first take, even if you've been putting it off for years.
EARLY BIRD $77 • GOES TO $99 ON OCT 19th

During this Record Your Art to Connect workshop, you will:
Learn what Connect art footage does for the people who are already following you, and why it means it's worth using your voice and showing your face
See why it still starts as recording just for you, so you can press record without deciding to post anything yet
Walk through three starter art video formats together, each with a real example: the studio diary, the studio tour, and answering a collector question
Find out why answering a question you've been asked three or more times builds trust with the people drawn to your artwork
Learn three recording habits for making an "answering a collector question" art video simple to finish later
Record your first take answering a collector question together, on your own phone, just for you
You'll leave with:
Your three-prompt Connect list, written for your studio and your collectors
Your first take talking to camera already recorded, so the first time is behind you
A simple weekly studio diary rhythm for the next four weeks to experiment with for yourself, and a monthly review to look-back
Replay access, edited into bite-size segments and loaded into our learning platform here at Ready to Record

What's this 4-Part Workshop Series about?
Record Your Art to Connect is the third in a series of four workshops to reach for when you want to cultivate connection with the people in your audience to build trust. Join us for all four Record Your Art workshops with the Series Pass for $299 USD:
Workshop 1: Record Your Art with Purpose (July 2026; instant-access incl. with series pass). Record it with intention and it becomes the ingredients you'll edit into art videos later that actually serve your art business.
Workshop 2: Record Your Art to Immerse (Sept 2026; instant-access incl. with series pass). Attract the right people by sparking curiosity. Pull the viewer into your world, the texture of your studio, the rhythm of your hands, the sound of the work being made. The art leads, no explanation needed.
Workshop 3: Record Your Art to Connect (this one). Cultivate the relationship with your people. Let the viewer in on something, why you make what you make, what a piece is really about, so it goes deeper than the work itself.
Workshop 4: Record Your Art to Spotlight (Nov 2026). Invite your people to take the next step. Point them toward something specific, a finished piece, a new collection, a show opening up. Here's this, and it's for you.
BONUS GIFT: You also get full R2R membership access included ($100 value) with your Series Pass through November 2026, at which point you can sign up to continue to keep your momentum going with us.

Meet your art video mentor
Hi! 👋 I'm Zach Wolfson, a filmmaker and your dedicated guide to documenting your art journey using video and marketing it along the way.
For years I've stood in artists' studios with a camera, filming them at work and shaping that footage into their stories. I created Beyond the Gallery, an artist interview series nominated for Best Documentary Series by the International Academy of Web Television, and along the way I've helped hundreds of artists share their work on video.
For a long time though, I avoided putting myself on camera. Going into the third season of Beyond the Gallery, I wanted to include myself in the stories I was telling. So to practice, I recorded myself talking every day for one week. It felt super weird at first. By day five, it started to feel a little less weird to talk to a lens.
The bigger shift came from recording video diaries, recorded just for me. Once I stopped performing and started talking to my future self, I had things to say.
Now I've watched the same thing happen for the artists I work with. One spent years avoiding it, afraid of who might watch and just as worried about the people she knew watching too. With my encouragement, she started by talking just to herself, like thinking out loud. Months later, she told me this alone had become valuable for her studio practice, and only then did she get curious about sharing some of it.
That's what Record Your Art to Connect is. One calm hour where you write three things related to your art to talk about, and record your first take alongside me, with nothing to post until you decide to..
